A quick yet very healthy recipe for all, it’s too easy to make (except for chopping the veggies
- use your food processor/ vegetable chopper to do wonders for you)…. and in minutes your dish is ready…not too much of masala or frying etc for it… chop add cook eat…simple!!
Ingredients -
- Carrot chopped - 1 - 2
- Capsicum chopped - 1 large
- Potato - 2 medium
- Peas - 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pinch of Hing (asafoetida)
- Dry coriander powder -1 tablespoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
Wash and chop all the veggies, take a non stick pan, heat oil and add hing,turmeric to it and after few seconds add all the chopped vegetables along with salt, peas to the pan. Cook on low flame with closed lid for 7 mins, open add rest of the dry spices (except dry coriander powder) and cover to cook on slow flame for another 7 mins.
Switch off the flame and let it rest for few seconds on the stream. Open it and add dry coriander powder to it. Your mix veg is ready to serve. It goes well with roti and curd.
