Halloween - “All Hallows’ Evening” & some Spooky Cobweb Cookies | Happy Halloween
”Tonight is Halloween!” and time for some spooky treats too! Many people around the world celebrate Halloween, which occurs annually on October 31. It is also known as All Hallows’ Eve and is the day before All Saints’ Day. Costume parties are held and many children go trick-or-treating around this time of the year. All across the globe Halloween is being celebrated with lot of fun and enthusiasm and now Indians are also embracing the Halloween festivity.Every year ever since my kids have started celebrating Halloween, I try to do something different for them to build in more excitement among the kids. Last year was perfect sweets and treats with the mini ghost cupcakes for them and this year I made these quick Cobweb Cookies to surprise them and their friends in the evening.
My kids are as always too excited about celebrating Halloween with their friends in the evening when they come back from school. All the kids are super busy from last one week in deciding their Halloween costume and accessories, and I understand the state of all the mom’s though
!
This year my son decides to be pirates and my daughter will be one of the devils…lol! Cant wait to see the rest of the kids too with their creatives, it’s really fun watching kids thinking out of the box and doing things.
Along with the cobweb cookies, I tried my hands on other food monster art with the help of the same squeeze bottle & skull, bones are the result of that only
! I have loaded my pantry with lots of candy’s for all of them along with these cobweb cookies. I adapted this recipe from Vijitha’s blog and it has come as a super saviour for me because I am in my no cooking lazy zone these days and was looking for something that is easy and quick.
