DAL MOTH SANDWICH
Dal moth is a namkeen that is available at all places in India and can also be found at Indian Grocery stores abroad. It is too delicious to resist. I feel dal moth to be too addictive just like plain salted wafers. The best dal moth I recall is of some shop in Agra but otherwise you will find dal moth of good brands available all over. You can also make a bhel puri out of that by adding tomatoes and onions with your favorite other namkeen at home itself. Certain days you really feel to eat spicy to the extremes to shake your taste buds, so this is one of the best tries….
Ingredients -
- Dal moth 4 teaspoons
- 4 Slices of sandwich bread or any bread you have at home
- Mint chutney
- Tomato ketchup
- ½ teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
Method -
Mix dal moth with onion and tomato, add ginger garlic paste to it. Take the bread slices, apply mint chutney on one slice and tomato ketchup on the other one. Apply the dal moth spread on the slices and close it. Apply little butter on the top of the sandwich on both the sides. We have not used any spices because dal moth itself is too spicy and has all the required spices already in it. Preheat the sandwich toaster and place the sandwich in it, remove when crisp. Serve with a glass of fresh juice. This is a quick breakfast option too!!
Enjoy this quick spicy byte
