Strawberry Milk Shake - It’s just Heaven in a glass!!

How about having some strawberry Milk Shake??? And the reply I got was Mom you are awesome…….yes! I had two boxes of strawberries in my kitchen and I kept wondering what to try with them, used few for my fruit salads and few ate just like that but for the rest I planned to make a Strawberry Milk Shake for my kids. They both loved it and my daughter said Maa give this every day…… It is really very easy and not at all time-consuming. My kids loved it and I loved watching them drink .

So here we go with this simple yet heavenly recipe of Strawberry Milk Shake…….

A touch of cherry too!!

Ingredients -

Serves - 2

• Strawberries - 8 ( medium size )
• Vanilla Ice Cream - 4 scoops ( You can use strawberry Ice cream also , I used Vanilla Ice Cream )
• Sugar - 2 - 3 teaspoons
• Cold Milk - 1/2 cup
• Ice Cubes - 4 - 5

Method -

Nicely wash the strawberries and remove the stems from them. Now in a blender add chopped strawberries, ice cream scoops and little milk together. Blend all together for about half a minute. Add remaining milk, sugar and crushed ice, blend again for another half a minute or so, till you see the entire mixture is together in the form of a smoothie. Pour in tall glass gently, add a spoon of ice cream on top of it, garnish with chopped strawberries, mint leaves or anything you like (I used cherries and Strawberries both).

I have not used any essence or Jam etc, but if you feel you can add few drops of Vanilla Essence or else add 1 spoon of mixed fruit jam also for a different flavour.

Heaven in a GLASS!!

Refrigerate for 10 - 15 minutes before you plan to serve and then served chilled.
