Walnut Ladoos (5 minutes Ladoo Recipe)

One of the quickest ladoo recipes that I ever made, this recipe is my simple invention while just grinding the walnuts and almonds for my mom because she cannot eat them due to her illness and wanted her to eat few my yummy walnut almond ladoos got invented. Too good to eat for her as well as the entire family!

Ingredients -

  • Walnuts - 1 cup
  • Almonds - 1/2 cup
  • Castor Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon

Method -

Grind both walnuts and almonds together in the mixer grinder till they are smooth. Take them out in a plate and add castor sugar and cardamom powder to the walnut almond mixture and mix well.

Now form small lemon size ladoos from the mixture. Trust me they are the fastest ladoos I have ever tried making. No cooking required in this.

I loved making them and they are simply healthy.

Enjoy making these for your loved ones too as I did :)

Happy Cooking!!

great… no cooking required… can some melted ghee also be added to the ladoos. and is it possible to make it with other dry fruits like pistachios or cashew nuts.

Hey Dassana, yes in this no cooking is required but adding melted ghee would definitely enhance the flavour and binding and is a grt idea, since grounded walnuts has its own oil, I could bind these ladoos well but surely we can try with rest of the dry fruits. Though I just happen to invent these, while preparing for my mom some dry fruits options that I could give her in the form of powder. Will try using pistachios, cashews too and see if possible :) .

Wow that would be real real rich…. Just a thought if you can roll them with poppy seeds to give a final look too!! I prepared figs and dates ladoos during diwali and they too turned out real rich and delicious, do check them when ever you got time. Will surely look forward to your no cooking recipe post :) http://madcookingfusions.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/five-days-diwali-celebrationsmad/
