Take a heavy bottom pan, heat ghee in it and add cloves, cinnamon, cummin seeds and let it fry for few minutes. Then add diced potatoes to it with salt. I let this cook for a while to let the potatoes fry little more and become crispy. Now add rice, water, red chilli powder and let it cook on low flame with covered lid for 10 – 15 minutes. keep checking in between. Cook on low flame till rice absorbs the water┬áand rice is properly cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with the sabzi.

You have a great collection for Navratri recipes. So helpful for the younger generation who are beginning to follow the traditional fasting.
