Paneer Wrap (Indian Cheese Wrap)

Preparation time: 20 mins

Ingredients: Scrambled Paneer (Indian cheese) & Indian Chapatti rolls

  • 1 Cup Home Made Paneer or 250grms Market Cheese
  • Tomato Ketchup / Salsa Sauce
  • Cheese slices
  • Oregano
  • Chilli flakes
  • Wheat flour / All-purpose flour
  • 2 Medium sized Onions
  • 3 Medium Sized Tomatoes
  • 1 Cup Home Made Paneer or 250grms Market Cheese
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilli to taste
  • Dry Coriander Powder
  • Pinch of Black Pepper to taste

Method:

To prepare the scrambled paneer filling –  Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and fry till golden brown for about 4 mins then add finely chopped tomatoes and salt to taste , stir till it oil starts leaving the pan. Add scrambled paneer to the mixture and all the dry spices. Keep stirring on low flame for another 7 mins. Finally add coriander leaves and your home-made scrambled Paneer is ready.

To prepare the Wrap –
Kneed wheat flour or all-purpose flour in luke warm water, add 1 teaspoon oil to the dough and keep aside for 10 mins.

Make chapattis from the dough in large thin size, when your chapattis are ready apply salsa sauce to it, add cheese slice and little tomato ketchup. Then add scrambled paneer to the chapatti and roll it nicely and close the end by putting a little pressure with your hands. You can also close it by using toothpick if required. Your yummy Paneer Wraps are ready to serve.
